Privacy Policy for Noir Lords

This policy explains what the Android version of Noir Lords collects, who receives it and what it is used for. We collect as little as we can while still being able to fix the game and keep online play fair. The PC version on Steam does not include analytics, ads or in-app billing, and sign-in there is handled by Steam.
1. Playing Without an Account
You do not need an account to play. The whole campaign runs on your phone without sign-in or a connection. Your save, the name you choose for online play, your language and your privacy choices are stored only in the app's storage on your device and are never uploaded.
2. Gameplay Data (Firebase Analytics, opt-in)
The first time the board appears, the game asks whether we can see how the game is played. Until you answer, nothing is sent. If you say no, nothing is ever sent. You can change your answer at any time in Options, under "Share play data".
If you say yes, Google Firebase Analytics receives gameplay events such as screens opened, fights started and finished, cards placed in a squad, packs opened, tutorial progress and which product was bought. These events contain no free text and nothing that names you. Firebase uses a per-install app instance ID, which resets when you uninstall the app or clear its storage, and Google estimates an approximate location from your IP address.
The advertising ID and Android ID are switched off for analytics, and analytics data is never used for advertising. We use it only to balance and improve the game.
3. Advertising (Google AdMob)
Noir Lords offers one optional rewarded ad: a player who has not bought the full game or unlimited ranked play can watch it to earn one extra ranked match per day. Ads never appear during a match. On a device that owns the full game, the ad SDK is never started.
Before the first ad, Google's consent form is shown where the law requires it, and you can reopen it later to change your choice. When an ad is shown, Google AdMob collects your advertising ID, an approximate location from your IP address, device diagnostics and ad interactions, and uses them to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. This data goes to Google under Google's own privacy policy, and we do not receive it: https://policies.google.com/privacy
4. Online Play (Epic Online Services)
Online matches and the ranked ladder run on Epic Online Services. On first launch, the game creates an anonymous device ID that holds your rating and XP.
Optionally, you can link your progress to your Google account so a reinstall does not reset your rating. If you do, Android hands the game a single sign-in token, which is passed to Epic to link your progress. We do not read or store your email address, name or profile.
The name you choose for online play (2 to 16 characters) is shown to your opponent and to players browsing for a match. You can hide it and appear as anonymous instead. During a match, only game moves are exchanged through Epic's service.
5. In-App Purchases (Google Play Billing)
Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play. We never see your card number, billing address or name. The game only learns which products your device owns, so it can unlock them. If you opted in to gameplay data, we also see that a purchase was made and which product it was.
6. How We Share Data
We do not sell your data. Firebase and Epic Online Services process data on our behalf to run analytics and online play. Google AdMob is the only party that receives data for its own purposes, as described in section 3. Each service handles data under its own privacy policy:

All data is sent over encrypted (TLS) connections.
7. Data Retention
Gameplay analytics are kept for no longer than 14 months. Your online rating, XP and linked account are kept until you ask us to delete them. Data on your device stays there until you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
8. Your Rights and Data Deletion
You can ask us to access or delete your data at any time by emailing speedtrailgames@gmail.com with the subject "Data deletion - Noir Lords". We will process your request within 30 days.
To delete your online account and rating, tell us the name you played under. To delete gameplay analytics, tell us roughly when you played and on which phone model, since these records do not contain your name. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage removes everything stored on your device.
9. Children's Privacy
Noir Lords is not directed at children under 13, or under the minimum age required in your country. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the effective date at the top of this page.
